The charming hill resort of Hisaronu (it means 'Front of the Castle', and refers to a local ruin). In recent years the resort has become very popular with British visitors, and the shops, restaurants, and bars cater extensively for their needs. An ideal place for walkers, visit the nearby deserted village, 'ghost town' of Kayakoy, or the secluded bays and coves, reached by the winding forest paths. A short ride takes you to the beautiful beach resort of Oludeniz.

Since my significant "other half" purchased an apartment in Hisaronu, we have been there some five times in the last six months. The more we get to know the town the environs and the people the more we love the place. This blog will I hope build to be a guide and a diary of our time there.
